Very nice and safe. The theatre is huge, so not intimate, but nice. Casino is busy, but there are plenty of tables and slots so you can always find something to do.

Close to the Harbor so double the fun!! The areas it sits in is very nice with shops and restaurants along the water. We had spent night infold town Alexandria the day before and this area is near but lacks the charm.
